MASSIVE UPDATES TODAY! First off and most excitingly, Elves of Sylvarant has finally been released! Totaling 35 pages, it includes both the prologue and the first chapter--and I've already started on the second chapter, so hopefully Chapter 2 should be coming out much more quickly than Chapter 1 did, bwahahahah. I hope you enjoy it! 8'D It was a heckofalot of work.
Additionally, Looking for a Title: The Visual Novel has also been released on the site! It's basically a re-telling of the comic with much expansion on the setting and the characters; only the first chapter is done at the moment.
Finally, some site maintenance! As you may have noticed, the banner at the top has been updated--sometime soon, when Pai has appropriate art for them, each series will have its own banner, and when you are accessing that particular series, you'll see its characters in the banner. The Extras page has been updated as well; an affiliates page has been added; if you have a site or a webcomic and you'd like to affiliate, get in contact with Pai! More character profiles are likely to be added soon as well, as well as some updates to the home page. Be on the lookout!

Small updates again. First is a new wallpaper for Title of the aliens, available in four sizes! Horray, art! Even if you don't download, I encourage you to check out the piece. Additionally, Elves is EXTREMELY close to its release, I only have a few pages left of the first chapter, and once it's out, my work picks up drastically on Harland's first episode. Very exciting update today! Through the magic of Cafe Press, Quasicake now has an online store! Currently available are t-shirts of four different styles, two featuring the Quasicake trio, one featuring Harland, and the third featuring Del, one of Pai the Artist's roleplay characters on deviantART (he had a cameo in Quasicake once). You can access it through the Extras page. More will be available in the near future, as well as other products--Cafe Press is limitless.
On another note, I've been working on code updates for parts of the site, replacing text with graphics to make things more interesting, more attractive... etc. Subtle changes, but they're there. That's all for now!

GREETINGS. Small update today, but one that is still quite exciting. I currently have the privilege of announcing the release of QUASI QUEST, which is a Quasi Cake spinoff that you can read about here. The best part, is that each installment is a downloadable, playable game! I've just released the first installment, entitled QUASI QUEST: The Search for Sparkles, starring Zero. It's a kinetic visual novel packed with humor, characters, and plot twists. Give it a try! 'Tis all for now, FAREWELL.

WHY HELLO THERE. Been a little while since the last update, it seems, but FEAR NOT. There's some now. Besides, I only update when there's a lot to say, and... there is definitely a lot to say.
First off, a bit of exciting news--Harland is not going to be a comic or a series of videos, it's now going to be an actual playable game! Pai is currently working hard drawing sprites and coding Python, but there's still a lot of work to be done. When I get the system up and running, I'll be releasing it one case at a time, and hopefully a demo for Case 1 when I can get enough sprites working.
Also, some news on Title, which is finally getting some love! I finally finished all of the fullbodies for the character profiles, and all of the characters that have appeared thus far are now up and have bios that are up-to-date with the status of the comic! They're a little long, but if you enjoy Title they've got interesting little bits of info to make them worth reading. Plus all the drawings came out pretty! :D
Finally, some site-related work. I finally, finally, FINALLY got around to typing something up for the about page! Sheesh, it took me almost a year to get around to it. It has some neat information both about me and the origins of all my series, as well as some lame little bits of contact information and some shiny pictures. I'm also going to be installing Archives (will update this news with links to them) for Quasicake (I finished it, you can find it here) and Title (I finished it, you can find it here), so that it makes it easier to navigate the pages/chapters if you're looking for something. Speaking of which, Quasi Cake is rapidly approaching its 100th page, and also a year since I opened the site! With luck I'll be doing some special artwork for both events. Oh, and don't forget to comment if you like because it's shiny and it's there.

Seems like things have been a little slow lately since the debut of the animation? Well, yes, Pai needed a seriously long recovery time to revive herself after that massive project, but yesterday she's picked up on a massive work streak! If you view all of the series' "Characters" Pages, you'll find chibis of all the characters who have appeared in their series thus far, which, upon being rolled over, light up with a change of expression. Upon clicking them, you'll be brought to individual pages for each character, including a nice biography on them--well, at least, for Elves, you'll find that so far. I'm still drawing fullbodies. However, I'll be done soon!
I've also been fixing a lot of coding glitches and adding more navigation links at the bottom of pages--if you find any more, please let me know! I've also finally remembered to add our TV Tropes page, which though was made a while ago, is quite excellent and brought to you by the fantastic Karma. NOT ONLY THAT but I've also added a news archive to keep the index page short--if you want to read older news, just click the link at the bottom of the page.
FINALLY, I have FINALLY coded a COMMENTS SYSTEM! Leave me a comment, tell me what you think of... well, anything on Quasicake! Except the navigation, I already know badly that needs improvement. But anything else! ... Preferably positive and relevant things, please. Don't spam it.

LE GASP, THE ANIMATION HATH BEEN RELEASED! ... And no, I don't mean El Gaspo. GO WATCH IT HERE RIGHT NOW! It's got 3 months and over 400 hours of work in it, and has also taken First Place at the Regional level of the PA High School Computer Fair. Yours truly will be taking it to states in May 8D Additionally, what was released actually isn't the entire animation--an entire scene and a half was cut out, and they will be released separately over the next couple of weeks. Also look forward to lots more art and new comics!

Big news, big news! The trailer for Quasi Cake: The Animation has been released, the the release date for the production has been set at March 16th, 2011! Check out the Trailer Here. Additionally, another comic is being hosted from a subdomain of Quasi Cake, entitled Elenlond: The Dark Conquest has been released by Woffle, who had been previously cameo'd in Quasi Cake. Her artwork is fantastic and the tones are being done by yours truly. You can read it here. That's all for now!

LE GASP (and not el gaspo)! A new page has been added to Extras! HOLY CRAB, it's a page for QUASI CAKE: THE ANIMATION! Being released sometime around the end of February or the beginning of March is the 5-minute pilot episode for Quasi Cake, featuring full-color animation and voices, plus a custom soundtrack. Also new to the extras page is a wallpaper featuring the entire main cast of Elves of Sylvarant, which will also be released around March, if not sooner. Additionally, do keep an eye on Title--Pai the Artist has been having random bursts of inspiration for it and you may be seeing random updates of it in the middle of the week. Anyway, stay tuned! Lots of excitement coming up in 2011! Happy New Year!

WOW haven't updated in a while. Anyway. As a few may have noticed, Title didn't update yesterday--this is because I'm dropping it back down to Fridays only due to the plot finally getting rolling. BUT, do not fear, for this sacrifice isn't without reward! TWO, yes TWO new series are being released. Of course, they are only in the coming soon stages at the moment, BUT I will be slowly releasing more and more information about them until their kickoff. They are Harland Vere: Ace Attorney and The Elves of Sylvarant. Keep checking back with them for new stuff--I'll let you know when pages for Elves get up and the first episode of Harland is released. 'Tis all for now!

WELCOME ALL to the GRAND OPENING of QUASI CAKE! After a few weeks of intense labor coding the site from the ground up, drawing comics, preparing plotlines, and doing hugetastic color images, I have finally completed the site enough to open it! I'm very excited. My name is Pai, and obviously I am the artist of the two comics
that are currently going--don't let me quit! I'm hoping that working through the series' will be an enjoyable and rewarding experience... and on top of everything, I hope you enjoy them! As the days go on, I'll
